Frequently Asked Questions

Who should enroll: Children 4 years and older (usually one year prior to when they begin kindergarten)

Where is the preschool located: Millville, Utah.

When are the classes: Classes are taught on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

How long are the classes: The classes from 9:30-11:45 and a NEW afternoon class 12:15-2:30.

What are the class sizes: 12-14 per class

How much is tuition: $12 per class (a month with 8 classes would be $96).  Tuition is less in November and December with fewer classes due to holidays.  

What if my family goes on vacation: If advanced notice is given you will not pay for the classes your child misses.  

When is the first day of school: The end of August

What is your focus: My focus is kindergarten readiness and I work to prepare children for the kindergarten assessment. We work on name papers, capital and lowercase letters, sounds, shapes, colors, numbers, rhyming,  the five senses, etc.  

What is a typical class session like: The children come and we read stories, have an activity, do a worksheet and name paper, have a craft, free play time and snack.

How do I enroll or get more information: Call Megan at 435-760-2590 or click here for a registration form once you have filled it out you can email it to whitesider@gmail.com.  After you have filled out the registration form you can pay the $50 registration fee via Venmo @Meg-whitesides, cash, or check.  

About Megan
Megan has grown up with preschool all her life. Her expertise and curriculum comes primarily from her mother who has taught preschool in the Salt Lake Valley for more than 30 years. Megan taught preschool in high school and also in college where she received her degree in Family and Human Development with an emphasis in family relationships.  She is also a certified life coach helping moms with parenting and to build better relationships with their kids.  You can get more help and information on her BLOG.  More information about coaching HERE.  She teaches parenting classes periodically throughout the year.  
She has taught preschool in her home for the past 18 years. She has a great love for children and has proven methods for preparing children for kindergarten.  She and Mike have four boys.
